PETITION SUBMISSION CHALLENGE
The StompOut Tobacco Petition
We, the Citizens of the World,
Proclaim, with One Strong, Unified Voice:
I. Our primary mission is to improve the lives of people adversely affected by tobacco.
II. We demand that officials from the governments of all countries, states, provinces, cities, towns, and other such public entities take the following steps.
III. We have identified steps to be taken, as paragraphs A through I below. These steps, if followed, will mitigate the impact of tobacco on the health of our planet and its inhabitants.
A. Shutdown the farming of tobacco.
B. Assist tobacco farmers with their transition to growing crops, to replace tobacco, as needed.
C. Shutdown the manufacturing of tobacco products, and assist with paying for the cost of repurposing of manufacturing plants to build other products.
D. Make it illegal to sell of tobacco products.
E. Pay for programs needed to assist individuals addicted to tobacco products with quitting use of tobacco products.
F. Provide the signatories hereto with an audited accounting of all funds collected from big tobacco to settle claims filed by all governmental entities.
G. Provide the signatories hereto with the location of all funds identified.
H. Give the signatories hereto the right to organize voting to determine how to best to use these funds to mitigate damages caused by the manufacturing and use of tobacco over the past six hundred years.
I. To negotiate with What.ngo how to best implement the instructions set forth above at an expedited pace, with a goal of completing the tasks in the above paragraphs by the end of calendar year 2023.
